Who: Any teenager

What: Film Camp July 24-30 with Inside|Out Global – see the quick video on our main page– a worldwide production company who are giving their time to share what they know about film with the teenagers of Colorado!

Where: Grace Chapel/Jim Elliott School have DONATED their gym/shower facilities to us for the week. You’ll need to bring a sleeping bag, an inflatable mattress if you’ve got one, your toiletries, and clothes! Chefs Adam Kerr and Sarah Lundquist have signed on for the week – the food will be excellent.

When: Sunday, July 24, 4:00pm to Saturday, July 30 at 3:00 pm. Film Premier Gala July 31 at the Gothic Theatre. Tickets: $10

Why: To learn as much as you can about all aspects of film production in seven days!

How: Register online! Space is very limited, so reserve your space early. The camp is FREE!

Workshop Instructors

Michael Jones - Lead Film Instructor

Michael is a husband of 20 years and father of three. He graduated with honors from Colorado Film School and owns and operates Parable Pictures, LLC., which does international, nonprofit and commercial media production with a client list which includes companies such as Hewlett Packard, The Martha Stewart Show, Indiana Wesleyan University, The Next Great Awakening Tour and Habitat for Missionaries to name a few. He is the creative juice and production workforce behind the Fishing Guide In A Box DVD series and his work experience has included filmmaking and instructing in the USA, New Zealand and Australia; crew work on over 20 short films, several TV pilots and a feature film, eight years in the US Army, entertainment start-ups; online sales management with Hewlett Packard; Director of Technology positions with Schryver Medical and Capin Crouse; and presently as an Accreditation and Electronic Assessment Database Specialist with Indiana Wesleyan University. He is currently a Board Member with Inside Out Global and Chapel Pike Wesleyan. His documentary short film, Stories To Tell, has won a Best Documentary award and two of his team’s films are now competing in International film festivals. He and his family reside in Marion, Indiana.


Wesley Dean - Film Instructor

Wesley Dean has worked with development organizations and educational institutions throughout North America, South America and Africa. Some of which include: MAP International, World Hope International, WestSide Ministries, Alliance Academy International, Houghton College and GoED Study Abroad. He studied International Relations and Intercultural Studies at Houghton College and graduated in 2010. He has recently had his work shown on CNN International when they did a piece about a special economic zone in Sierra Leone, West Africa. Wesley will be getting married to Rachel Taylor and moving down to Ecuador in August.
